Symbols:
A Claddagh is an Irish symbol showing two hands holding a crowned heart.  The hands represent faith, the crown represents loyalty and fidelity and the heart represents love.  The way the Claddagh ring is worn, also has meaning.   Wearing the ring on your right hand with the heart and crown facing out from your heart shows the world that you have not given your heart away.  If your heart belongs to another, the heart and crown face inward.  And if the Claddagh ring is worn on the left hand, with the heart and crown facing inwards, it proclaims that your love has been returned.

A Celtic cross is a symbol that combines the cross with a ring that surrounds the point at which the two lines cross.  This is a common symbol through out the British Isles, often Found in graveyards and other places of religious and historic importance.
